Prime Minister’s Award to Dr. Selvamalar Ayadurai, Founder of TECH Outreach for “Finalist Woman Social Entrepreneur Activist” in September 2010.

TAFT Award by the American Embassy in Malaysia in recognition of TECH’s initiatives to help empowers disadvantaged women in Malaysia, in 2010.

Europa Sustainability Award 2012 in the category of “Women Entrepreneurship Programme” in conjunction with EUMCCI Social Responsibility Week 2012.

SRI LANKA PROJECT

2011 – 2021

Sponsor a Child Program with CFCD – An Increase from 66 students to 113 students

2016 – 2021

72 Wells Transformation Plan to convert 100 women farmers into women entrepreneurs
Micro-credit financing with Community Based Organisations with varied Enterprises (CBOs)

2019 – 2021

Sponsor a Child Program with Malarum Poomi – An increase from 5 students to 158 students

NEPAL PROJECT

2013 – 2018

Hariyali Primary School in the district of Bhiman

  • A two-classroom structure with no proper benches and whiteboard was transformed into a 6 classroom teaching school with number of students increasing gradually.
  • Free uniforms, books and stationery were given out to encourage students to come to school. From 29 students initially, the numbers increased to hundreds and this school became the first teaching school in Bhiman.
  • It was then decided to let this school be independent.

Janasbhai School

  • A school that was chanced upon by the team in 2016.
  • It was a bamboo shack. It is in a marginalized area. TECH team immediately got down to seeking funds to build a proper concrete structure with 2 classrooms.
  • The nutrition programme here started in 2018.
