WHO WE ARE
TECH Outreach was registered as a Non Profit, Non-Government Organisation in May 2009 with the aim of transforming disadvantaged communities in Malaysia and few other international countries, through micro credit financing and entrepreneurship development. TECH’s main focus is Women and Children.
The micro-credit approach is adopted from Grameen Model initiated by Professor Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh. The target group are Women In Need (WIN) category who are heading households to sustain their family livelihood. Numerous programs are run by TECH in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal such as WIN micro-credit financing, Entrepreneurship Course for WIN via collaboration with Collages, Sponsor a Child Program etc.
TECH has shown true integrity and worthiness by getting the trust of many respective funders throughout its existence. Among them are UNCHR Malaysia, UNDP Sri Lanka, Khazanah Nasional Malaysia, Development Fund Norway, Individual donors, Philanthropists, Members.
TECH needs much continuous support from public in terms of fund, volunteers to carry out its mission to REACH OUT to the Women and Children in Need.

TECH Outreach Malaysia functions on the platform to transform, enhance, cultivate and harness the elements imperative to championing the SELF-SUSTAINABILITY pursuit in disadvantaged communities. TECH Outreach Malaysia believes in helping communities tap into their potential and transform themselves through entrepreneurial proactiveness, risk-taking and innovation. It is within this framework of vision that TECH Outreach has adopted the famous “Grameen Micro-Credit Financing” Model by Professor Muhammad Yunus, in transforming women communities.
